UK-based Lauren Luke is becoming a worldwide sensation on YouTube as a makeup guru. Originally, Lauren started selling eye-make-up products on Ebay and instead of taking photos of the products she took pictures of them on her eyes, to show how they were applied.
Video demonstrations were a natural progression and she started making video tutorials and hosting them on YouTube in June 2007. Currently, she has in the region of 200 video tutorials, demonstrating make-up styles of celebrities. Her Leona Lewis inspired video has been viewed more than 2 million times.
In May 2008, the BBC made a documentary about Lauren and added the video to YouTube which has now been watched by more than 2 million viewers.

In October 2008, Lauren went down to London as a guest of YouTube and met the Queen. Since then she's been to New York three times – her first time abroad – to develop the products, for her own make-up line, which will be launched in March 2009. And she's also the subject of a BBC3 documentary due to be aired early in 2009.
