10 rules to starting a small business

One of my favourite websites is http://www.socialsmallbiz.com/ as there's loads of useful and interesting information about online marketing. I've just seen a very useful post from a guest blogger Daniel Offer which gives 10 simple but important rules of starting a small business which I wanted to share.

The post gives lots of practical and reinforcing tips such as:

- Be realistic with what you can achieve

- Don't be afraid of failure - it's a learning process

- Be proactive and don't be afraid of hard work

- Use outsourcing to fill the gaps that your skills can't

- Study your competitors and decide how to be better and or different

- Become an expert in your field

- Consider getting a partner who complements your skills and can help you get the business off the ground

"CARMEN" to be performed at Marbella bullring 13/08

On August 13th at Marbella's bullring, Bizet's "Carmen" will be performed by the classical ballet company run by Aída Gómez of the Spanish National Ballet.

This show will be performed exclusively in Marbella as the only show in Andalucia, after being one of the main attractions at Shangai's EXPO. The tickets will be sold at ticketmaster.com, El Corte Inglés, "Palacio de Ferias y Exposiciones Marbella", from 20 euros.
