MAY 27 British Consulate Spring Garden Party for Age Concern

Age Concern in conjunction with the British Consulate in Malaga are holding a Spring Garden Party on May 27 at the Sohail Castle in Fuengirola. TICKETS have just been put on sale for this highly anticipated event. They can be bought from Bookworld stores in Banus, San Pedro and Fuengirola for just 15€ per person. The aim is to increase awareness of the British Consulate-Age Concern Project and the incredibly important work is does. It also aims to raise funds to provide training to over 60 volunteer caseworkers who provide essential help and services for elderly expatriates within the community.

British Ambassador to Spain, Sir Giles Paxman will be attending the event, and X Factor star Rowetta has already agreed to fly out to perform for free.
On behalf of Age Concern, Euro Weekly News are looking for individuals or companies to pledge their support, something which can be done in a number of different ways:
Cash donations
Raffle prizes
Bulk-buying tickets

As this event has been organised by the British Consulate, they will ensure that all money received goes directly to Age Concern and the elderly they are striving to help. Sponsors will receive full facturas for tax purposes and acknowledgement in the Euro Weekly News during the campaign for this event.
